While Bethlehem has been around for over 120 years, most of that history took place at two locations in Springfield , MA .

Since July of 1991, we have been meeting in our present facility that we had built here in Hampden , MA .

Although never having pastored before, I became the pastor at Bethlehem in the Fall of 1983. My wife and I were attending at the time and as lay leaders, we were engaged in ministry, primarily with youth and music. Needless to say these last 20+ years have been quite an amazing ride. Bethlehem is an                                                        exciting church to be involved with as God’s hand of joy and blessing has been upon us.

I don’t know what you are looking for in a church, but I do know that you need to come and visit Bethlehem . While it is true that we are not for everyone, the 400+ people, and growing, that are attending each week, think it’s a special place to worship God, to grow in Christ and to raise a family.
